Robert Soto, DDS
Dr. Robert Soto was born in San Francisco and has lived throughout the Bay Area. He is a graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
After graduating, he was selected to attend the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in Union City, California, where he received the award for the Resident of the year.
Each year he greatly exceeds the dental board's required amount of continuing education hours by attending a full week of courses at Seattle's Kois Center for dental education. The Kois Center teaches top dentists from around the world the latest in dental research and science. Dr. Soto strives to provide patients with the most up to date dental care by using the latest, scientifically proven dental techniques, materials and procedures.
In addition to providing high quality comprehensive general dentistry, Dr. Soto has a special interest in the art of cosmetic dentistry. He has become one of San Francisco's premier cosmetic dentists. He is also an instructor at the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies and Frontier Dental Institute teaching other dentists concepts in the art and science of cosmetic dentistry on live patients. .
His most significant education was the 5 years working with Dr. Albert Kadosh. Dr. Kadosh shared 45 years of dental experience, dental knowledge and taught him to treat people, not teeth.
Prior to Dental School, he attended San Jose State University where he studied Marine Biology. Since then he has served as a volunteer at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito and at the Oakland Zoo.
Dr. Soto is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the San Francisco Dental Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In his spare time he enjoys doing anything with his wife and baby girl, traveling, photography, playing basketball, running, DJing and watching the 49ers and Warriors.

Michael Villavecer, DDS
Dr. Mike Villavecer came to the Bay Area to study dentistry at University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. While he was in school, he realized he had a passion for general and cosmetic dentistry. He was President of the Esthetic Study Club and one of two winners of the OKU Honor Society awards in removable prosthodontics.
Upon moving to the Bay Area, he immediately fell in love with San Francisco and decided he would stay and set up roots to provide dental care to the wonderful people here.
Prior to moving to San Francisco, Dr. V. lived in Southern California. He has a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from Cal State Fullerton and attended USC to complete a post-baccalaureate program to transfer to studying dentistry. Before switching careers, he was an engineer for the U.S. Navy. His true calling would indeed be to help people improve their health, smiles, and confidence.
In his free time, Dr. V. likes to explore the Bay Area, run, listen to live music, and is an avid boxing, basketball and football fan. On the weekends you might find him jogging through Golden Gate Park or the Embarcadero training for his first marathon.
